VTM is taking a strategic step in the development of its advisory services, establishing Energy as a new business line. Supporting this move, Andreas Prucker joins our Lisbon office as Director, bringing almost twenty years of international experience in infrastructure advisory, investment and project finance.
The expansion builds on VTM’s established infrastructure expertise, extending our financial, economic and technical advisory capabilities into a sector undergoing profound transformation. As the energy transition creates new investment opportunities and increasingly complex project development challenges, this move broadens the support we can provide to investors, lenders, developers and public authorities.
The transition is also changing how infrastructure is financed. Lenders and investors increasingly expect projects to demonstrate their environmental and social performance, and a growing share of capital is channeled through green and sustainability-linked instruments. In response, VTM is developing a new Sustainable Finance offering, helping clients prepare and structure projects to meet these requirements, in energy as well as in the transport infrastructure markets where VTM has built its reputation.
Andreas brings experience across conventional and renewable energy, hydrogen, energy storage and electric mobility, alongside a substantial background in transport infrastructure. His career spans advisory, investment and project development roles, covering project structuring, financial modelling, investment appraisal, and technical and commercial due diligence. This combination provides a practical understanding of how projects are assessed, financed and developed, and of the priorities of the different parties involved.
At VTM, Andreas will work alongside the partners and fellow directors to shape and develop the Energy business line. He will also take the lead in structuring our economic and financial modelling services, strengthening our Technical Due Diligence offer and designing the new Sustainable Finance offering, reinforcing VTM’s capabilities across sectors.
We welcome Andreas to the team as we begin this new chapter in VTM’s development.
