We are delighted to announce that Tiago Pimentel has re-joined the VTM Lisbon team as a Senior Associate Director. Tiago’s journey with VTM began in 2003, and over 16 years, he played a pivotal role in our growth until 2019. After a distinguished five-year tenure as Advisor and Chief of Staff to Cabinet Members in the last two Portuguese governments, Tiago returns now to VTM.
With over two decades of experience, Tiago is a seasoned transport specialist renowned for his expertise in rail, tendering and contracting of public transport systems, high-level business consulting, transport operations analysis, transport economics, and strategic evaluations. In his new role, he will guide our clients in strategic planning for the transportation sector, offering insights into business consulting and transaction advice, developing robust business models, and performing economic and financial appraisals.
Tiago’s extensive international experience, which includes contributions to diverse projects across Europe and Africa with VTM, adds tremendous value to our team. His background in transport R&D projects and his ability to maintain strong relations with international multilateral organizations will further enhance our capabilities.
We believe that Tiago’s return not only strengthens our technical expertise but also enriches our team spirit. We look forward to the contributions he will make as we continue to support our clients in navigating the complexities of the transportation industry.
