Last Friday, VTM presented the Mobility and Transport Plan for the World Youth Day that will take place in Lisbon, from 1 to 6 August 2023. After long months of work, and successive meetings with various entities, our VTM colleague Isabel Pimenta was able to present how a consensus was reached among various stakeholders on strengthening the supply of public transport, the organisation of parking and the prioritisation of pedestrian axes for access to central events.
VTM will continue to work on this major project, monitoring the implementation of the planned measures and actions, and providing support for any real-time adjustments that may prove necessary over the days of the event.
