Oriol Riba holds a master’s degree in civil engineering and has over fourteen years of work experience in the infrastructure sector, with a primary focus on transport as well as experience in energy and social infrastructure. Prior to joining VTM he worked for more than twelve years in London, partly in advisory firms and partly in an authority-operator (Transport for London).
He has participated in multiple project stages, including strategy, scheme assessment, procurement, M&A and operations, having worked with a wide range of clients including authorities, operators, lenders and investors.
Oriol has extensive experience in technical and commercial due diligence (including cost, demand and revenue forecasting) and is an accomplished project manager for transaction processes. His deep understanding of investor needs enables him to lead advisory teams effectively, ensuring high‑quality, timely delivery. In addition, he has been procurement advisor to authorities for PPP schemes, understanding the needs of both the public and private sector to ensure the success of the project in the short and long term.
