Luís Fernandes holds a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Lisbon School of Engineering (IST), having specialized in Production and Projects. He developed his knowledge in the airport sector through his master’s thesis, in which he analyzed and investigate an accident of an aircraft, as well as previous works.
Has experience in data collection, organization and processing of databases, as well as coordinating teams in field works. He worked for TAP Air Portugal, the Portuguese flag carrier, making reservations for the Frequent Flyer program (former Victoria program, now TAP Miles & Go), working both back office and front office.
Luís also served one of the main Portuguese handling companies (Groundforce) as a Traffic and Ground Handling Agent, performing different airport processes such as Check-in, Boarding, Disembark, among others.
