Isabel holds a degree in Civil Engineering, Planning, Transport and management, from the Instituto Superior Técnico of the University of Lisbon, completed the academic part of master’s degree in Transport from the Instituto Superior Técnico and attended the 1st Advanced Program in Public Private Partnerships at the Portuguese Catholic University. More recently, she completed a postgraduate degree in Concessions and Public-Private Partnerships at the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon.
Isabel has been serving as consultant in different sectors for 25 years. She has experience in planning and operating infrastructures and public transport systems, having been involved in several transport system contracting projects providing consultancy services to the public and private sectors, monitoring the implementation of the Legal Regime of the Public Passenger Transport Service, advising transport authorities and operators with its in-depth knowledge of the functioning of operations and its regulatory framework. Additionally, he has monitored several projects within the scope of sustainable mobility.
Isabel is author/co-author of articles/technical communications presented at reference events in the sector. She has teaching experience and co-supervises theses to obtain academic degrees.
