Alessandra holds a master’s degree in civil engineering with specialisation in infrastructures and transportation from Politecnico di Milano, with a master’s thesis about airport capacity and an internship in the transport modelling field.
Alessandra is a senior consultant at VTM, where she is part of the modelling team. She has experience in network development and matrix estimation as well as calibration/validation. On top of PTV Visum, she has experience with Emme and Cube, as well as coding in Python.
Before joining VTM, Alessandra spent six years in an engineering consultancy in London, working as a transport modeller on a variety of UK projects. Earlier in her career, she was a modeller in a small consultancy in Italy, where she worked on a project for the European Commission.
