Cristian's primary focus lies in the development of sustainable mobility plans, the design and optimization of public transport networks and spatial analyses

Cristian Adorean holds a Bachelor’s degree in Territorial Planning and a Master’s degree in Regional Development and Planning from the Faculty of Geography at Babeş-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. He is currently a PhD Candidate at the ISCTE-University Institute of Lisbon and the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences of NOVA University of Lisbon (FCSH-UNL).

 

He has further enriched his professional skills through academic experiences at the Institute of Geography and Spatial Planning, University of Lisbon (IGOT-UL), and the Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM). In addition, he has contributed to the field through the publication of scientific book chapters and articles in international peer-reviewed journals.

 

As a consultant at VTM, Cristian´s primary focus lies in the development of sustainable mobility plans, the design and optimization of public transport networks, territorial diagnostics to support decision-making processes, territorial modelling and spatial analyses, GIS, and geocomputing.
