VTM is pleased to announce the addition of Laísa Braga Kappler, further strengthening our capabilities in transport modelling and sustainable mobility analysis.
Laísa joins VTM with a strong academic and research background in transport systems. She holds a degree in Civil Engineering, a Master’s in Transport Systems Engineering, and a PhD from Instituto Superior Técnico in Lisbon. Her research has focused on travel behaviour and the impacts of evolving work patterns, including telework, on urban mobility systems.
Throughout her academic and professional journey, Laísa has contributed to several research initiatives and publications, with a focus on transport modelling, highway operations, traffic impact studies, and the environmental implications of mobility systems. Her profile combines solid analytical skills with a forward-looking perspective on the challenges shaping the future of transport.
At VTM, Laísa is part of the modelling team, contributing to a range of projects across different geographies and transport modes.
