With a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Lisbon School of Engineering (IST), Ana developed her master thesis in optimization and modelling of logistic procedures, by building a simulation model aiming at analyzing a freight village in the north of Italy.
Has experience in modelling transport systems, namely in data collection, organization and processing, and in the analysis of complex databases created for the purpose of supporting transport system assessment and optimization processes.
The number of projects in which has participated have allowed to gain relevant experience in the analysis of the operational performance as well as equipment competitiveness regarding transport systems. Detains experience in developing applied tools for the analysis and modelling of road and maritime transport hubs, as well as logistic systems.
Languages: Portuguese, Spanish, Italian and English.
- Large database processing and analysis;
- Transport systems’ modelling – development, operation and analysis of multimodal models, namely demand projection in transport systems;
- Development of traffic projection models for individual transport;
- Strategic analysis in the logistics and freight transport sectors.
